I am a sculptor whose work has been vastly enriched by my training as an architect. Locating my art within the complexities of architectural settings, I attempt to bridge the, often cavernous, divide between art and architecture.
Working primarily with found objects and manufactured materials, I strive to create works of art and design that illuminate unforeseen ideas and possibilities. Guiding my process is my belief that it's the, slightest manipulations, the simplest contextual shifts, and the most mundane juxtapositions, that enable our minds to make the most dramatic perceptual leaps. I do this with a childlike wonder that I hope will leave viewers with the lasting impression that at any moment they too can see the whole world anew.
